KolMagen helps protect you from unwanted and potentially fraudulent phone calls. This notice explains what information we process and what we keep.
What KolMagen processes
To provide the service, we process the subscriber’s phone number and protection settings, along with information about calls handled by KolMagen, such as the caller’s number and the time of the call.
KolMagen asks callers who they are and why they are calling. It analyzes their answers to assess the call. If a call is connected, KolMagen may also analyze the conversation afterward to check its risk assessment.
KolMagen does not store call recordings or transcripts. Audio and transcripts are used for analysis and discarded after processing. For each call, we keep the resulting conclusion, such as the caller’s stated purpose, risk indicators, and assessment outcome. We may also keep feedback the subscriber gives about that outcome.
Information submitted through Try
When you submit the Try form, we collect your name and one contact method: a phone number or an email address. We also record the site language, the Try button or page section that generated the request, the version of the commercial offer shown, and the date and time of submission.
We use this information to contact you about KolMagen, help you get started, manage your request and understand aggregate interest in the displayed offer. We do not use these details for unrelated advertising.
The website records when a Try button is viewed or clicked and when a form is successfully submitted. These conversion events contain the site language, button position, offer version and timestamp, but not your name, phone number or email. This measurement does not use advertising cookies or persistent visitor identifiers.
For this Try/contact flow, KolMagen does not intentionally persist Turnstile tokens, IP addresses, User-Agent information or browser fingerprints.
Notice to callers
Before screening, callers hear a message explaining that the subscriber is protected by KolMagen and that continuing the call indicates consent to recording and analysis. A caller who does not agree can end the call.
Recording allows KolMagen to analyze the call; it does not mean the recording is kept.
How we use information
We use call information to screen callers, warn subscribers about possible risks, review assessments, and improve future screening. Automated assessments can be wrong. A risk warning does not establish that a caller has committed fraud.
We also process account and technical information needed to operate the app and website, provide support, and protect the service from misuse.
Service providers
KolMagen uses providers for telephone connections, hosting, speech processing, and AI analysis. They process the information needed to provide those services on our behalf. Processing may take place outside Israel. KolMagen does not sell personal information.
For the Try form, we use Cloudflare Workers to process requests, Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against automated or abusive submissions, and Cloudflare D1 to store the submitted contact information and conversion events. Cloudflare processes technical information needed to provide its security and anti-abuse services under its own service and privacy terms.
Retention of Try-form contact details
Contact details submitted through the Try form, including your name and phone number or email, are retained for up to 12 months from submission or the last meaningful interaction. We delete them earlier if you ask us to, or if they are no longer needed for the stated purpose.
If you become a KolMagen customer, relevant information may thereafter be retained under the normal customer/account retention rules rather than the Try-form retention rule.
Your choices and requests
Subscribers can change their protection settings or stop using the service. KolMagen cannot screen a call without processing the information needed to assess it. Callers can decline screening by ending the call after hearing the notice.
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, request deletion where applicable, or ask us to review a call assessment. Use our Contact page to make a request or ask a privacy question. Information about closing an account is available on the Delete Account page.
If you submitted the Try form without creating an account, you can request deletion of your submitted contact information by emailing support@kolmagen.com or using our Contact page. You do not need to delete an account you never created.
Security and updates
We use measures designed to protect the information we keep from unauthorized access. We may update this notice when the service changes and will show the latest update date on this page.
